Antaisolar gave an excellent presentation at TaiyangNews Virtual Conference

TaiyangNews successfully hold its virtual conference on July 5th-6th, gathering the industry's leading module and tracker suppliers to share opinions on Bifacial&Solar Trackers. As one of the participants, Emmanuele Chiappori, Global Engineering Director of Antaisolar, brought an excellent speech on the first day and attended the executive panel discussion in the final part of this whole event.

On the topic of single-axis solar trackers wind induced instabilities, Emmanuele mainly shared his views on what outputs of wind tunnel test(WTT) should be concerned for the tracker structural calculation. He also introduced why Antai's trackers can still be stable while it keeps tending to adapt to the large modules and get longer. " Increasing the stiffness of the members is the point. " Emmanuele said. By increasing member sizes and shortening free span length, the stiffness of the members can be enhanced. Most of Antai's trackers adopt multi-point drive solutions, which helps to decrease the free span length, and effectively improve the stability performance.

With professional insights, Emmanuele was invited to join the executive panel discussion on the second day, together with researchers from ISC and TUV, they exchanged opinions on How to Optimize SolarPower Plants LCOE Using Bifacial Solar & Trackers, suggesting pushing forward the technical progress in the industry.
